When ordering footwear, please give your Brannock or street shoe measurement and, if possible, your width and length of your street shoe size. We prefer an actual foot tracing made by outlining on a piece of paper. Trace around both feet with a vertically held pencil or thin ballpoint pen. Include the arch at 45 degrees.
Please include measurements in inches or centimeters for ball, instep, heel and leg.
See our order page for details on measuring and tracing your foot patterns or download the tracing form:

Fitting Nativearth Footwear
Moccasins: Properly fit moccasins should be very snug at first, with very little toe room. The foot will stretch the soft leather into its shape.
The break-in period can vary from hours to a couple of days. Try wearing your mocs without the sheepskin insoles until the leather stretches,
then replace the insoles. Keep your mocs clean with saddle soap, wipe dry and apply light oil or hand cream.
Sandals: Sandals should seem a little short with your longest toe coming just past the stitching. That's because the heel counters have not yet shaped to your heels. Pull forward on the heel counter while nesting your heel back into the heel pocket, The sandal will start stretching at this point, the foot moves back up to 1/4" or more. Balanced tension on the lacing and proper maintenance will keep your sandals fitting and workingwell for a long time.
Renaissance Boots: As in putting on moccasins, the toes slide into the shoe and you push your foot forward into the front. Grab the back pull tab and slide your heel down . Make sure the inside flaps are tucked in flat, then adust the closures to a comfortable level. The boots should have minimal room beyond the toes, because the heel will stretch back a bit and the front will form to the shape of your foot.
